Bio

Isabellé Carson is a current Doctoral student at the University of North Texas. Carson is studying for her degree in Performance with a minor in conducting. She received her Bachelor of Music at the University of Wyoming, studying under Dr. Jennifer Turpen. She received her Master's of Music at the University of North Texas in the spring of 2026. Isabellé has performed with the University of Wyoming Wind Symphony as principal saxophonist, the University of Wyoming Symphony Orchestra, and various other ensembles at the University.

 

 

 


 

During their studies, Isabellé also studied composition. She has studied with teachers such as Dr. Anne Guzzo and Dr. Robert Belser. She studied piano with Dr. Theresa Bogard.

At the University of North Texas, Isabellé plays in Apricus Quartet as well as the Wind Symphony, directed by Eugene Corporon. Isabellé recently performed at the Midwest Clinic with the University of North Texas Wind Symphony.

 

Isabellé has performed across the United States as well as internationally. Isabellé performed with the University of Wyoming Jazz Ensemble in New York City at the Jazz at Lincoln Center for the 2023 Jack Rudin Jazz Championships. She also presented and performed at UFG in Goiânia, Brazil. 

 

Isabellé currently teaches flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, and piano in the DFW area.
